Hello,
I'm developing new Flow process on Japan environment.
However I can't find like "When an Existing Item is Modified" trigger.
I would be happy if I get some comments.
Thank you,
Takuma

Hi @Takuman,
This trigger is removed and the new trigger is When an item is created or modified.

Hello v-monli-msft,
Thank you for your reply!
However how can I know what column was modified?
Regards,
Takuma
Hi @Takuman,
Sorry but I'm afraid that you cannot get this from flow so far. You can only know that the item is modified in the list.
Regards,
Mona
But how can we difference between create and update?
for example on item create i will send New Item in a mail, On item update i will send Item Update in a mail. How can I achieve this with this trigger?
If we can't difference this than this is a huge step back and people will have to use SharePoint Designer Workflows
Hi @benny183,
You migth want to upvote this idea:
If you can see the difference between befroe and after the update then you could also se if it was an update or a new item.
For your problem you could also add a condition straight after the trigger. Compare the creation date and the modification date. If they are the same then it's a created and otherwise it is a modified trigger.
If this trigger is removed then how do I make it working. I want to update list items when existing items are modified.
Any help or work around would highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Salik Anwar,
You could compare the creation time with the modification time and add this in a condition near the top of your flow.
Thogh, I am getting error. Could please explain it step by step if possible. That would be great help. Thanks,
It is the update item that is failing. Can you open that one up and tsend another screen shot?
Sure. Here you go.. Does it help? Let me know in case you need more details for this.
Yes. sure. Here you go.. Please also see my workflow the way condition is set up whether right or wrong?
When you run the Update Item action you should be able to get info shown like this:
Here it is.. Please help. It is very crucial to update list manually.
Alternatively, you can go to the template page and find the template that says "When an item in a SharePoint list is modified send an email" and delete the sending email actions , keeping only the trigger.
