Weekly summary of open list items (Sharepoint List)

I want to do something similar to the below post

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Weekly-summary-of-open-list-items-Sharepoint-List...

But this post does not show the steps on how they did this.

I have got the below steps down.

Right now my issue seems to be on my Filter it is not filtering to show the items that were modified today which

 I have as @equals(item()?['Modified'], utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd'))

based on another post i know my issue is Modified date has a time on it and I need it not to but I do not know how to get the modified in the correct format.

I also have an issue where the item has a choice field and the value comes out at below.

"@odata.type":"#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference","Id":0,"Value":"Indy"}

I need to get the actual values

I have a

Get Items

Filter array

Apply to each

Which I am getting selected columns from

Create HTML Table

Then Send email

Re: Weekly summary of open list items (Sharepoint List)

Hi @ jkeckard007,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

For you first question: based on another post i know my issue is Modified date has a time on it and I need it not to but I do not know how to get the modified in the correct format.

You could create a flow as below :

Capture.PNG

The expression in the "Filter array" as below:

@equals(formatDateTime(item()?['Modified'], 'yyyy-MM-dd'), formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd'))

The flow would run successfully to get the items which's Modified date is equal to today as below:

Capture.PNG

For you second question:I also have an issue where the item has a choice field.

I have created a choice type column name "Choice" in the sharepoint list

You could create a flow to choose the "Choice value" dynamic content of "Get items" action as below:

Capture.PNG

The flow would run successfully as below:

 Capture.PNG
