Weird Message Using Power Automate's Send an Email and Approval Connectors

Hi All-

I am having a weird output instead of the actual name of the person when receiving a reply email from "Start and wait for an approval"?

As shown in the screenshot, I am selecting the dynamic content of "requested by" which causes 

this issue:

I also switched to "Requested by" ( which is a Person/Group column in SharePoint) in the To: column for "Send an email (V2)" in the screenshot below and get the following:

Flow save failed with code 'OpenApiOperationParameterValidationFailed' and message 'Input parameter 'emailMessage' validation failed in workflow operation 'Send_an_email_(V2)_#1_(Back_to_Requesting_Employee)': The parameter with value '"@triggerOutputs()?['body/RequestedBy2']"' in path 'emailMessage/To' with type/format 'Object' is not convertible to type/format 'String/email'.'.

Any ideas?

Hi @y2kardell 

In Power Automate you should be able select another field called "Requested By Email". Could you check if that field is shown while you design the workflow?
