What is the difference between an action that has (Preview) next to it's name as opposed to one that doesn't? And how do I find the one with (Preview) to select?

EDIT - Sorry It's been a long day and I am ambien-ed ( LOL ) Duh ( Preview) Actions still on Preview and not finalized. My bad.
Thanks!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am trying to follow some steps on how to add Form results to a SharePoint list which instructs me to select the Action:

When a new response is submitted
From the steps diagram ( example ) it shows this: The action with (Preview) next to the name.
f1.PNG

But when I select it, there is no (Preview) next to the action name:
F2.PNG

which leads me to believe why  I may be having trouble not having the dynamic field names available to match a "Create Item" in SharePoint.

What is the difference if it has (Preview) or not next to an action name and how can I have an action with (Preview) show up to select as an action since it doesn't show up as a selection?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi @MikeRooker

Generally preview means that's the latest connector available with more improved features. If you have two similar connector and one says with preview is the best one to use for. I am not sure in your case after the selection why the name is disappearing. You should be to set the dynamic mappings to SharePoint. Sometimes you don't see all the content dynamic mappings under the list.  If you don't see the Dynamic names from the list start typing the name under the search text box of Dynamic content. Also if you are mapping a numeric field then under the dynamic content it only displays which is matching the same type.

Thanks

Thank you abm. What do you mean by "Also if you are mapping a numeric field then under the dynamic content it only displays which is matching the same type. "

I had been following a tutorial for sending responses to SP from Flow but the dynamic content does not show.
Please see video at this time frame where in the dynamic fields in the create item action the form questions show up.
But when I try it, instead of letting me select a field from a dynamic field from a form question. For example a question from the form asks: "Do you like Flow" instead of letting me select "that question" as a dynamic field , it actually asks me to actually answer the question with a drop down yes or no on the Add item to SharePoint action itself

I don't understand what I am doing wrong.

Thank you so much,

Hi @MikeRooker

Yes the numeric mappings only shows the numeric Dynamic fields.  What I understood is you have a Microsoft Form and there is a Yes/No question. You want to capture the answer to a SharePoint List?

Thanks

Thank you I realize now. That It is best to save the responses as text to a SP list which worked for me. Thank you!
