When a File is Deleted from a SharePoint library get file path

I am working on a flow to delete a file from another library with the same name and path as the file deleted from the current library and path.  I tried to get file properties after the flow was triggered by the delete but logically the file is already gone.  Help please.

Hi @ Powerless,

Do you want to get the file path when a file is deleted from a sharepoint library?

I have made a test on my side, and there is no way to get the file path when a file is deleted from a sharepoint library in Microsoft Flow currently because the file is already gone as you said., I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

As I suspected. thank You!   Just to share... I am atempting to keep parts of one document library in sync with another.  I have the created and modified flow working.  I may try to flip my thinking for deleted files and work on a flow that looks for files in the desitination library that arn't in the source.  Share your thoughts please.

This is puzzling because I had a Flow that ran for approximately 6 months that gave me the metadata from a deleted SharePoint file - which was very useful for syncing via FTP to a website. Now it suddenly doens't work.

There is a bug in Flow currently that is preventing the metadata that you used to get from coming through in the body.  This is probably why what you had working no longer works.

These bugs seem to happen a lot with Flow. Flow is not very useful if they consistently suddenly stop working due to updates. I am barely getting started writing Flows and I have already had several stop working due to updates. I understand why Microsoft is constantly updating the product and the new features are appreciated. On the other hand it is not appreciated when I have to constantly go back and fix existing flows that have been working in the past. As a business user I place more emphasis on reliability than new features. If this product does not become more reliable, I will have to look elsewhere to solve my business needs. I am the only person working on this at my company and I don't have time to make this many repairs. I understand technology is constantly changing and repairs will always be required, but this is excessive. Please put more emphasis on reliability.
