When a file is created - multiple files

Has anyone has any success using the trigger 'When a file is created' but for it to pick up multiple files being created at the same time e.g. using the file upload question in Forms.

I want to use these files to then add as an attachment into SharePoint list.

I have been able to get this working successfully for 1 file but does not work for multiple - the Flow does not even trigger :S

Happy to share the flow steps I am working with currently should anyone have any ideas on how to progress this?

Re: When a file is created - multiple files

Hi @Basic_User007 ,

Following @ScottShearer 's suggestion, if you want to save the uploaded attachments in the personal Forms to the List item, please refer to the method in this video:

If you want to save the attachments uploaded in the Group form to the List item, please refer to this similar thread:

Re: When a file is created - multiple files

@Basic_User007

Please post screen shots of your Flow.

Is there a reason that you aren't using the When a form is submitted trigger?  If you did, you might use the following concept:

  1. When the Forms trigger fires, list all the files in the OneDrive folder
  2. Create the list item
  3. Loop through the files (if any were submitted) and attach each file to the list item
  4. Delete the items which have been attached to the list item from the folder.

Re: When a file is created - multiple files

Hi @Basic_User007 ,

If the files are uploaded to a specified folder at the same time, there may be a way to get all the files in the folder from the item ID.

Re: When a file is created - multiple files

Hi @ScottShearer

I am just using a basic example at the moment to get the file upload working so didn't think of this. How would you expand 'loop through the files'? I am not sure I know where to start with that.

Re: When a file is created - multiple files

@v-bacao-msftas standard Forms uploads the files into a folder when the response is submitted....
