When item is modified populate a word document template

I would like to know the correct condition to populate a word template only when certain criteria is updated from sharepoint list.  i.e. I have a status report template - i only want to generate a report when a list item has been updated with this months update.  which is a column in my list).  I have got it to work but it generates a document when i update any column - not just This Months Update column.

Re: When item is modified populate a word document template

Hi @liseunderwater1

You can use conditional triggers in Flow

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-gP-E6CCE4

So lets say you need to trigger the flow if a specific column has data then you can use the trigger condition as

@not(equals(triggerBody()?['columninternalname']),null)

Re: When item is modified populate a word document template

Thanks for the response.  Understanding exactly where to put the solution you provided is not clear.  The YouTube video was good too however, I dont know what "compose" does exactly as it doesnt pertain to my problem of populating a word document when a sharepoint item is modified.  If could please let me know the exact area, what condition Action to use - would be helpful.  Thanks
