Why is there no co-authoring capability in Power Automate?

I just saved changes to a Flow but they were all lost I assume because a colleague who was editing at the same time saved his work and "overwrote" my changes. I was shocked to find out there are no alerts about others editing or version history. Am I wrong or is this a major oversight on the part of Msft?

They are actually deploying a couple of features for better collaboration on Power Automate flows in Release Wave 2 2021:
