I am trying to build a flow for a very specific scenario. We have applicant information (to an art school) in an Excel spreadsheet, as we get the information as a .csv from a database with a badbad no good user interface. Each student is a separate row and the information we need from the students stored in columns etc.
I want to:
1) Use Mailings in Word to send an email to each eligible applicant, based of data in Excel, inviting them to come for an interview, and
2) attach a Form where the applicant can confirm that they will attend that will then
3) be collected with a Flow back into Excel, and change the "status" of the applicant such that we can see that they will attend.(Basically enter "yes" or "no" into a column, for each applicant.)
I have worked out how to gather data and populate/update an excel sheet with Power Automate, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to match a form with a given student. I can have them enter their email into the Form and use that as a key to the row, but it seems silly to send them an email to then ask them to enter their email.
tldr; I want to send Forms by email to update an existing Excel spreadsheet based of reply.
