Working with arrays

Hello all,

I have a bit of my flow which works with a Sharepoint list. I have a "Sharepoint - Get Items" action called "MilestoneArray"

I'd like to have a "Compose - Data Operations" action work with an individual item from that array, for example index 5

What I'm trying to get my compose function below to do is to add an amount of days stored in position 5 in milestone array to a date in another list. All of this works except for the array bit

I am wondering if this is possible and if so, how something like this is done

Thank you!

Re: Working with arrays

Hi ChrisC,

Would you please explain a bit for the "MilestoneArray" here? How is this data stored (field type) in the Milestones list?

If only for the date type fields, the compose Action should work.

Please share more information for the fields that you would like to work with, I will then try to perform some tests about it.

Besides, if you would like to work with items in Compose, the format should be:

"@Adddays(,)"

There is no need to add the {} here.

Regards,

Michael

Re: Working with arrays

Hello,

MilestoneArray is this following list here:

MilestoneArray.png

What I would like to do is compose data based on a piece of data modified by a specific DateChangeAmount. Could I compose something which modifies another date by say, "

@Adddays(body('Get_child')?['Start_x0200_Date'],int(body('MilestoneArray[3]'[DateChangeAmount']), 'MM/dd/yyyy'))"

Where MilestoneArray[3] is index 3 in MilestoneArray?
