XML data updating multiple SalesForce records

Hello,

I am new to Flow and struggling with how to approach updating multiple SalesForce records from an external data source (in this case, QuickBase).

What I am trying to do is use Flow to grab XML out of QuickBase, then update multiple SalesForce records based on the contents of that XML.

Below is the XML that I am pulling in. I'm trying to update a status field in SalesForce based on the ID from the XML (which is they key field in the SF table).

<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<name>SalesForceItem</name>
<record>
<id>a5j0g0000008mDHAAY</id>
<implementation_status>Install Scheduled</implementation_status>
<update_id>1566594651523</update_id>
</record>
<record>
<id>a5j0g0000008mDGAAY</id>
<implementation_status>Install Scheduled</implementation_status>
<update_id>1566594651523</update_id>
</record>

I believe I need to use the "Apply to Each" function, but what's in between that and the raw XML is where I am completely at sea.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Hi @bbedingfield ,

Where is the XML data saved in?

Best regards,

Alice

Re: XML data updating multiple SalesForce records

Hi, @v-alzhan-msft. Thanks for the quick response.

The XML data is generated by QuickBase and is being pulled into Flow via GET request using the QuickBase URI/API.

Thanks,

Bo
