block o365 resource

Hi all,

Using the template to block your own calendar for an hour, I modified it to block a resource (meeting room) inviting it as atendee (the room has its own email address).

The only problem I have now is that meeting rooms are used by a lot of people :).  I create the calendar object in my own calendar, but if the meeting room is already blocked by another person, I can't know it until I receive the cancelation email from it (something like "your request was declined because there are conflicts"), the create event in Flow finishes as "completed".

Is there any way to know if the meeting room has a conflict in advance? I can't find any field in the create event response that tells me "that room has a conflict".

The ideal solution was something that loops in all the meeting rooms (a predefined list), find the first available and then block it.

Thanks!

Re: block o365 resource

Hi Sergio,

By far, it seems that we can’t use flow to know if the meeting room has a conflict in advance, so there is no field can be used to tell us that “this room has a conflict”.

May I suggest you submit an idea about this issue on Flow ideas Forum by going here, so it might be considered as a future release:

I would also collect this from my side.

Best regards,
