cognito forms with uploaded files

Hello and thank you in advance.

I am New to flow and trying to get a file that is in a json file as link and store that file into One Drive for Business. here are my steps.

1. In Power BI, created a dataset that contains the form fields

2. In Flow, created a new flow, with cognito when created.

3. In Flow added a action, insert into Power Bi a new row

4. Link in the basic Cognito Form fields

Example:

First name

Last name

image

filetype,

contentype,

5. in Flow, in the image field, I select add dynamic content > File.

(creates the Apply to each)

6. In Flow > Apply to each, I can only choose a single object of the array

7. In Flow > select Add Action > one drive for business > create file, select the location to save,

 (this is where I get stuck:

as I can not select the file name (below), so instead i select the first and last name.

then File Content not sure what i can place.

so when the file saves it just has the "name" with no .pdf.

[
{
"ContentType": "application/pdf",
"Id": "a-PBLPMw0g1E",
"IsEncrypted": true,
"Name": "smily 2.pdf",
"Size": 48368,
"File": "https://services.cognitoforms.com/this/is/a link to the file",
"Content": "random string greater than 4000 char"
}
]

I would to be able to save the file with the array name. This gets more confusing since there are multiple images that someone may load.

Re: cognito forms with uploaded files

Hi @Anonymous,

So you mean the OneDrive create file Action won't save the .pdf as expected?

I think the file content part should be the Content value of the JSON (or Array?) you posted, and the file Name field should be the Name part.

Currently I don't have the cognito forms account available, I will try to setup one and share the results here.

Regards,

Michael

Hi

Can you tell how I can code the cognito attached file to save on my database?
