dynamicly get input into an adaptive card

Hi,

im using adaptive card to post a message into teams and also managed to trigger a second flow for approvals udsing the HTTP connector.

im using adpative card for the follwoing use case:  when user submit a document for approval an adaptive card is sent to the approver, when clicking the 'approve' button in the card a second flow is triggered using the HTTPS connector.

my question:

i want to add the following:

1. button 'submit your comment'
2. when the button is clicked a input.text field is opened to get the name of the user the comments are submitted to.
3. second flow is triggered with the name that was typed to up[date a sharepoint liost with the ststus pending and the name in an additional field.

i tried to use the action.showcard button, but i can only type the name in, not sure how to forward it to the next flow, or even how to trigger it.

is this doable?

Hi @Perez ,

I'm afraid that your requirement couldn't be achieved within Microsoft flow since the function that you mentioned to open a input.text field when a button is clicked is not supported in Microsoft flow currently.

so when using the activity input.showcard, what exactly can i do with the text the user typed in?

can you suggest how can i get the input?
