Hi RanDutta,

I guess that you created a flow to create a record in CRM when a new email is arrived. And below is a screenshot of the flow I have created.

email crm.PNG

When a new email is arrived, a record would be created in Account entity. This flow works properly. I don’t any error message.

If your flow is not the same with mine, to reproduce this issue, please provide a screenshot of your flow configuration.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao

Getting a similiar error on any entity that has a look up field. I can integrated a simple lead or contact. When I try to create a goal or opportunity via flow getting the ambiguous binding error noted in this form. I am on CRM Online 2016 Update 1.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for your reply. I need your flow and the mappings as well.

Re: getting error "Ambiguous binding is present. Resolve by sending lookup_type property"

No mappings I have hardcoded everything to try to simplify it to find the issue.

I am adding an item in a sharepoint list which triggers the hardcoded inputs. I did this in case there was a data transformation error that was causing the issue.

Hi @Anonymous,

In your Opportunity mappings are you using any optionset values. Or Is that all values are text fields only?

Radio Station and Market are Option Sets. It warned me to a put an integer value for the selection for these instead of the actual value.

Re: getting error "Ambiguous binding is present. Resolve by sending lookup_type property"

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for your reply. Believe there are no lookup's you setting in your mappings. I won't fill all the values in one go. Remove the date, option sets and looksup mappings. Set only the text fields and see if that works. If that works then try to set the option sets only. That's the only way I would debug to find which mapping is causing this issue?

Thanks

Re: getting error "Ambiguous binding is present. Resolve by sending lookup_type property"

I'm also getting this error, Not using any option sets. Option sets exist in the Entity (Case), but they are optional at creation time, so I do not send anything and they're not appearing in the body. I do send a GUID for _customerid_value. Could that be causing it?

I tried a second time adding in integers (within range) for the Option Sets and continue to get the same error.

Seeing the same issue.

Re: getting error "Ambiguous binding is present. Resolve by sending lookup_type property"

I solved this for my issue. I was trying to create a Case for customer with _customerid_value. I needed to also send _customerid_type as well (type="accounts" or "contacts"). Added that parameter and it worked.

Re: getting error "Ambiguous binding is present. Resolve by sending lookup_type property"

I am sorry, but could you please let me know the syntax in the Dynamic field?

 Where do I use type="accounts"?

thanks

Re: getting error "Ambiguous binding is present. Resolve by sending lookup_type property"

Lets say I'm trying to assign a lead to a user.

Under the Lead object, I would see two fields:
Owner

Owner Type

Owner should be the id of a systemuser (entity named User)

Owner Type should be systemusers

the owner type does not come from a dynamic variable you just write the string "systemusers"

I think for your case, you'll see

Customer

Customer Type

in Customer Type, you'll type accounts.
