limit number of times flow runs/day

I created a Flow that notifies me by email when a file is modified. (an Excel file on someones OneDrive, shared with me)

Typically the file is changed every few days.

Flow runs fine but I get a dozens of notifications because the user has the autosave option enabled in Excel.

I would like to get notified once the file changed but not more than 1 per day.

Thanks!

Re: limit number of times flow runs/day

Hi @ bogdan2o,

Please take a try to create a flow as screenshot below:

Please modify the setting of action timeout to "PT1D" refer to steps below:

Capture.PNGCapture1.PNG

The flow would run only one time one day, and if the file is modified in the folder, the flow would send the email notification as screenshot below:

Re: limit number of times flow runs/day

I agree with @v-yuazh-msft except that I believe the timeout setting shoould be P1D rather than PT1D.
