manipulate column names in flow

Hi,

  1. i have a report extracted from a tool with issues and the impacted application per issue to excel.
  2. each exteract of the report can have diffrent amount of impacted applications columns accordiung to the issue wuith the biggest ammount of impacted apps.
  3. i want to build a flow that will create  an array with n dimentions, n=number of impacted apps column

i read some posts suggesting that there is no way in power automate to refer to the columns names in excel, does anyone have any workaround how to deal with this use case?

Yes, as you said, there is no any way to get the excel column name in Microsoft flow currently, and I'm afraid that there is no any workaround.

If you would like this feature get the excel column name to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Please refer to the Excel connector actions documentation for reference.

As you can see, there are no actions for manipulating columns or column names. The Excel connector has many Known issues and limitations so it isn't recommended to use if at all possible.

With that said, if this is functionality you would like to see added to Flow or a Flow Template, please consider submitting it to the Flow Ideas page, where it can be voted on by other users, and tracked and commented on by the Flow team.
