"Click UI element in window" won't click "File", just clicks the entire menu bar

I'm using "Click UI element in window" and when I go to add a new UI element, it won't select the "File" menu of the menu bar. It just selects the entire menu bar which must be a parent object.

Yes, I've tried holding down control and scrolling but it doesn't select "File", still the entire bar.

Any idea how I go about identifying this element? The element is in a menu bar on a desktop app, not a web browser so I can't inspect the CSS... unless there's a way to view the app's CSS equivalent I'm not aware of?

Hi @bwatts,

You could click the UI element, then click the Selector of UI elements, on the right of code has a hide botton named edit selector, you will find more configuration here:Screenshot 2021-04-14 105801 - Copy.jpg

Yes, I've tried messing around with the selectors. Unfortunately that doesn't help me select a child element, right?
