"Select an output from previous steps" in apply to each does not showing dynamic content

I have try to use apply for each structure to get previous steps output, but it's seems get wrong.

This process proven to be works before, and the owner make sure it doesn't work any more when create new Flow. But the old one still works fine.

the issue can be easily repro by following steps:

1. Create "Automated -- from blank"
2. Select "When a new response is submitted --Microsoft Forms" and Create it
3. click Form Id to Pick up a form
4. New step, Microsoft Form as an action and choose "Get response details"
5. The Form Id select as step 3, and the response Id use expression: "first(triggerBody()?['value'])?['resourceData']['responseid']"
6. New Step, create Apply to each structure and the "Select an output from previous steps" sees give me not option to select.

@Pstork1 just see the same issue you have solved before. I'm quite sure the expression: "first()" is use to create a collection. can you help to make sure is there an exist a deployment to make this feature damaged ?

The issue with First() and the problem with Apply to Each both stem from the fact that there really is no Collection or array involved in your flow.  The trigger fires when a New response is received.  That's singular so there is only one response.  And the second step to get the details will get a variety of dynamic content, but it won't be in an array or collection.  it will be individual pieces.  So you don't need First() or apply to each.

What are you trying to accomplish with the flow?

First() is used to get the first record in a collection so that you don't need a Loop to process the collection if you only want to process the first record.  So if you use First() you don't need an apply to each.

Hi Pstork,

I have change the expression, in step 2, as triggerBody()?['resourceData']?['responseId'], and the dynamic content still have nothing.

Hi Pstork,
