report excel change

I am trying to create a flow that notifies when a spreadsheet is updated with new information.

I have created an application using powerapps which gives users the ability to edit certain fields. This app is fed by an excel sheet, I would like to create a flow that alerts me when a change has been made and sends the change or at least the sheet row and column where the chance occured?

Is this possible?

Hi @jmquint00,

Where does your excel spreadsheet store?

I suppose that you store your Excel spreadsheet in OneDrive, I have made a test on my side and use “When a file is modified (metadata only)” of OneDrive for business connector as a trigger. The trigger only returns the whole modified record rather than the value changed actually.

There is no way to send the change or at least the sheet row and column where the change occurred in Microsoft Flow currently, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Thank you for the response. When you say 'returns the whole modified record', do you mean it returns a new sheet with the updated record?

and those that get send as an attachment or you get text in the body of the email??
