send email to multiple addresses?

Hi all.

I have a simple SP list with suppliers identified.

When a supplier is archived, the flow sends an email to a single email address that is detailed in the same list notifying them the supplier has been archived.

I now need to send the mail shot to approx 20 addresses in our group, and I am stuck.

I have created an additional list that holds a batch of email addresses each separated by ";". My thoughts to this list is I then have only one place to make changes rather than to every supplier list item.

I am trying to get flow to assign the batch emails (in a different single list item) as the email "to".

Any ideas?

If you want to avoid the apply to each, you can do this:

multipleEmails.png

The compose action will contain the email address separated by a semi colon.

Hello @MarkB1977 ,

you can get data from another list using the 'Get items' action. If it's just a single item with email in the other list, then configure the 'Get items' to get all items from the configuration list and then use the column with email as the email recipients.

Hi @tom_riha

Thanks for the reply.

So I tried get items previously but it added another apply to all which caused the flow to fail (I have an apply to all, then condition to search the list for 'no')

The second list has only one entry and 2 columns.

The first is the default 'title' column and the second holds my email batch.

When I tried to use get item function, there wasn't any dynamic input available for me to use in the 'to' body of send email v2.

I'm not sure how to use get items without it applying to all a second time.

I'm still learning 😁

If the second list has only 1 item then it doesn't matter if it adds 'Apply to each'. The output from 'Get items' will be still only the single item and the 'Apply to each' will run only once, processing the single item.
