set reminder based on date in list

I have a list which includes a number of dates.  I want to set a reminder 1 year before one of the dates.  I have selected the built in  Power Automate 'set a reminder'.

I have input 365 days.

However, the 'out of the box' flow does not work as expected.

I'm very confused why an 'out of the box' flow does not work.  Has anyone else experienced issues with this?

What was the column you set Reminder on and what was the value? Can you edit the flow and check what is the schedule it runs? Example below.. Mine runs at 3 PM everyday...

You can click Test button in the right corner and Run it manually to test it.

@PeggyLang Flow Run did not fail. It was successful. The Action that you are referring to was skipped. That action's Configure Run After is configured to run only if the earlier action is skipped or failed. It's like exception handling.

You can check Flow Run history and flow run should show it green and successful.

You are actually correct.  Flow did run successfully, however, an email reminder was not sent and I don't understand why not??

User error - aren't most of the issues user error???
The flow will remind on the exact day (i.e., 60 days before), so I was expecting a reminder email 'within' the 60 day range as opposed to on the exact 60th day before.
I now will try to edit the flow such that the 'Director' receives the email instead of me.  Or perhaps I will @mention them in a Teams post - not sure yet, will have to work on it.
Thank you tho.  Your response made me go through and think it through.
