I have created a flow to send an automatic email when a file is modified on OneDrive.
I have two issues:
Can anyone advise how to achive what I want?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Do you mean the email is triggered in your flow when someone opens the file but does not add anything?
I afraid that it is because the excel file would be automatically saved after some minutes,so please make sure the excel wouldn't automatically save so the trigger "When a file is modified" wouldn't triggered.
If you want to add who modified the file in the message body, please refer to screenshot below to create the flow:
Yes, exactly what I meant. I hoped OneDrive can sense if someone actually adds something to the file or just views it. I do not want to deactivate automatic saving as this ensure no added content will be lost. If someone just looks at the file and do not change anything then I do not want a message triggered by the automatic saving.
For some reason the "last modified by" dynamic content does not appear for me in the selections.
Have you had an opportunity to apply @v-yuazh-msft‘s recommendation to adapt your Flow? If yes, and you find that solution to be satisfactory, please go ahead and click “Accept as Solution” so that this thread will be marked for other users to easily identify!
