Hi,

Im trying to build a flow. The flow environment would be sharepoint connections.

So far this works fine.

When a file is created > Start and approval > Send email scope yes/no.

I was wondering after an approval has been accepted (yes) could this file then be moved into a seperate "approved folder" in SharePointt, within the same flow?

Assuming it would then branch off the yes scope?

Thanks 🙂

Hi @Techyswaglord,

You could configure Move file action under Send an email action.

If you want to move files to a folder in the same library, you may need to add a condition to exclude move-generated files from the specified folder.

The recommendation is to move the file to a different library so that you don't have to configure Condition2.

Please take a try.

Hi,

This worked!

What annoys me is when I was trying to create this flow I did some research and knew I had to use identifier after looking at other peoples questions about this. But when I was creating the flow it wouldn't give me the "identifier" tag as an option grr. It would only generate approval shortcut tags.

Log in to try again and bam pops up when I type it in. Must have been some glitchy flow stuff going on.

Appreciate your help!

Hmm,

Now I've tested it though I get what you mean about moving it to a separate folder.

Cause now I'm getting another notification because a new item is "created" within the folder which is located within the target folder.

How could I fix this without moving to a separate folder?
