use @mentions as trigger for Microsoft Teams

I want to help our teams better follow up on commitments or action items discussed in meetings or in chat.
Therefore it would be nice to have flows start when someone is mentioned. The current trigger for Teams @mentions only supports "Active user" mentioned in specified channel.

A practical example I would like to develop is to trigger on a sentence like "@Alex to follow up the customer with new meeting date proposal". I would take this trigger, run it through a condition to look for an actionable text - like "to follow up" and connect it to a task management tool. Examples beeing To-Do or Planner for task management.

Best would be to not have to spesify any given team or channel, but to use a condition to filter if wanted.

Re: use @mentions as trigger for Microsoft Teams

Hi @lokrheim,

Thanks for feedback.

Currently there is a trigger When I am mentioned in a channel message, if you need a trigger When someone is mentioned, please submit an idea on Microsoft Flow Ideas Forum:

I will suggest other customers who have the same request to vote your idea at here.
