using Flow template When an item is created or modified Get calendar view of events - error

Hi,

I am using the "When an item is created or modified -> Get calendar view of events " template and have successfully connected to the SharePoint list, but the flow execution fails with the following result and I don't know what is wrong?

Id is malformed.
clientRequestId: 8a072b9c-ab17-46a5-b437-5aa41bf73ffa
serviceRequestId: 1034dbd8-2834-4d5a-b173-9c23914acab8

The list in the connection is a Sharepoint Calendar, is this type of list supported in the flow?

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you share all the screenshots of the Flow configuration?

I have not found the same template as the one you provided on my side.

However, I created the Flow using the trigger and action you mentioned, and it works fine.

In addition, the SharePoint calendar can be compared to a list, and Flow supports this type.

Select "Enter custom value" in List Name field and fill in the calendar name.

Please provide more details for us to find proper workaround for you.

Hi thanks for replying,  I can't insert a screenshot I don't have an image site to put the image to.  The info is:

*Site Address
redacted
*List Name

Limit Columns by View
Avoid column threshold issues by only using columns defined in a view

*Calendar Id

Projects Workload
*Start Time
2019-01-01
*End Time
2019-12-31
Filter Query
An ODATA filter query to restrict the entries returned (e.g. stringColumn eq 'string' OR numberColumn lt 123).

Order By
An ODATA orderBy query for specifying the order of entries.

Top Count
Total number of entries to retrieve (default = all).

Skip Count
The number of entries to skip (default = 0).

Search
Search text for matching event body and subject

I see your screen has "event date" and "end date" in it.. am I supposed to be using that?  I am new to Flow and didn't see any place that explains properly how to enter dates.

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you tell me which action has the error you mentioned?

As for the EventDate and EndDate I configured, I chose it from the list of Dynamic content output by the trigger.

You could try to reconfigure Flow. Now that you know which actions you need to use, you could create a Flow from the blank.

And reconfigure the list and Calendar.

If you can't find the Calendar you need in List Name, you could manually enter SharePoint Calendar name by clicking "Enter custom value".

Thanks for the reply!

It is step 2 with the error, step 1 is fine with the access to the right list (I took me about 10 attempts before I realised the long code was the only thing that got the connection right).

I tried the dynamic content, "EndDate" did not exist for me I tried "End Time".. anyway I still get an error message:

"status": 400,
  "message": "Id is malformed.\r\nclientRequestId: 5e79deae-64ae-4242-8c96-4ab79dc50b60\r\nserviceRequestId: 3b8b0a7a-636c-4754-99bc-16a52e3c9e09",
