using data on SharePoint list to update another sharepoint list

Hi I am new to MS Flow but very enthusiastic. I have created two custom lists in office 365 SharePoint almost exact copies of each other. The first list contains high level problem statements the second list is an action tracker. What i would like to happen is when the "Status" field is changed from new to reviewed, the second list will be auto populated with the Id and some other meta data fields. Sounds simple but only when you are in the know.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous,

The trigger when a field is modified is not supported in microsoft flow currently,if you would like to create the flow when the "Status" field is changed from new to reviewed, I afraid that the only way should be add a Yes/No type column "NewToReviewed" to record if the item change is because the field is changed from new to reviewed.

And then you could add a trigger "When an item is created or modified" in your flow, then add a condition to check if the "NewToReviewed" column is equal to true, the screenshot of the flow should as below:

Please make sure the Title is the two lists would be the same.

Best regards,

Alice
