when a file is uploaded, asking for the expiry date of the file

Hello there,
I need urgent help on something.

I have a list where I keep company name, e-mail address and various information.

When users upload/update a file to the sharepoint library; I want them to enter the expiration date of the file they uploaded (required). The flow that I will do will only send an e-mail to that company that the document expires when that date comes.

Is there any way to do this?

I created a new column and I can get the expiration dates here. but I could not make it send to only the relevant person on my list. Do you have any suggestions for solution?

Hi @testuserburak

Yes its possible. Follow the below steps:

1. Use a scheduled trigger which runs every day.

2. Add a Compose action to find todays date using expression and format using yyyy-MM-dd

    formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd')

3. Add SharePoint Get items filtered by expiry date eq compose action date value.

4. At this stage you filtered the records which are expired on that date.

5. Iterate the values (Apply to Each loop) and send email to relevant person. You can get the email details automatically once you filtered the record from step 3.

Thanks
