Hello,
how can I build a flow for following situation:
I work with "when a new email arrives(V3). I want to work with the subjectfilter. The subject Filter has: the latters a and b.
If the Mail has a "a", then persons A, B and C get a message/notification.
If the Mail has a "b", then person B, D and E get a massage/notifivation.
Thank you very much
You would repeat the same actions that you have above, for these other cases. Have a list of phrases, iterate through them, then match them up. But it sounds like your matrix would then be more complicated, if your intent is to notify different people dependent on what's been reported. Probably a row per Room # and maintenance "type" with that contact. You'd cycle through, wait for a hit on room, and then cycle through the "maintenance" type, see if there's a hit on type - if there's not, then move ahead with a "general" column, and if there is, get that specific maintenance contact from your list.
I answer questions on the forum for 2-3 hours every Thursday!
The Part with cycle listens perfect!!!! But where and how can i make this room/maintaince/general?
Please rephrase your question - it's unclear for me what's the problem.
I worked wichtig the example from Rhiassuring.
Now I want to make following:
"Probably a row per Room # and maintenance "type" with that contact. You'd cycle through, wait for a hit on room, and then cycle through the "maintenance" type, see if there's a hit on type - if there's not, then move ahead with a "general" column, and if there is, get that specific maintenance contact from your list."
But i dont know how to add it in the example of Rhiassurung
In your matrix, you have
Room # | Maintenance Contact
103 | Jill@jill.com
105 | rhia@email.com; victor@email.com
But if you are now saying there is a difference maintenance contact for a different reason, and you want to detect the reason AND the specific contact, you will probably need...
Room # | Issue Type | Maintenance Contact
102 | Lights | jill@jill.com
102 | Windows | rhia@email.com
103 | Lights | victor@email.com
103 | Windows | victor@email.com
103 | Heat | rhia@email.com
I answer questions on the forum for 2-3 hours every Thursday!
Thank you! My last flow is this pictures:
But where can I paste/built the new parts/variables of the funtion, and what are the variables which I need?
102 | Lights | jill@jill.com
102 | Windows | rhia@email.com
103 | Lights | victor@email.com
103 | Windows | victor@email.com
103 | Heat | rhia@email.com
Hi, I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. What I have shown you is how you will need to update your tracking list. You will need to track the person and "Issue Type" in a new row for each room. You will need to populate that manually in your matrix. Then, your flow will look at it to figure out who to contact.
As you have already learned how to look for how to match on a room, the same steps will apply to looking for a word like "Windows" "Heat" or "Lights.
I answer questions on the forum for 2-3 hours every Thursday!
