Hi, I have a Sharepoint list which has 2 columns: Status, and Volume.
I want to create a column chart which has Status on the X axis and Volume on the Y axis.
Each item in my Sharepoint List can be any 1 of 6 different Statuses, and multiple items can share the same Status. Therefore, I need to aggregate the volume for each status.
Is this possible to do within Powerapps? My column 'Status' does not appear as an available field for Labels.
(Ultimately, I also want to filter the chart by a Column 'Requester' which is a Person and multiple items can have the same person.)
Yes it is possible for simple grouping and standard operations
you should rebuild the table with the use of a collection and GroupBy and Sum functions, something like this:
ClearCollect(GroupbyStatus, AddColumns(GroupBy(Table1, "status1", "total"), "SumByStatus", Sum(total, volume)))
Then you can filter the collection using the Filter function and set the result as datasource for the chart control.
You may build more complex reports in PowerBi and then use the PowerBi control in Powerapps to visualize the data.
