Assign color items in combobox or dropdownlist according to letter begin.

Example:

Blue color text    ->    CellPhone XXXXXXX

Red color text   ->    Laptop  5580XXXXXXXX

                                 Laptop  5590XXXXXXXX

Black color text   ->    PC Dell XXXXXXXXX

                                 PC HP XXXXXXXXX

- I used this formula BUT fill all items in PROPERTIES "COLOR" of the Combobox

If("CellPhone" exactin ddEquipmentN.Font,Blue,Red)

- Could you please review attached image.

@cvazquc3

Unfortunately you cannot change the color of individual items in a ComboBox or DropDown list.  The items will all be one color.

If you want that capability, you might want to drop into the Idea forum and post it there as an idea.

You can also get this ability by using a Gallery control.  There you can adjust the TemplateFill for each item in your list.  Obviously this is not a ComboBox or DropDown, but it can be manipulated to perform that function fairly easily.

I hope this is helpful for you.

@cvazquc3

Are you stating that you want your "Components" dropdown to only contain components relevant to the "Equipment" selected?

If so, then you will need to set a filter on the Items of the components dropdown list that filters based on whatever criteria you have that relates components to equipment.

For example, if you had an equipment record such as {ID=5, Equipment="Cellphone SamsungJ6"} and you had records in your components lists such as {ID=1, EquipmentID=5, Component="Screen Protector"} then, for your components dropdown, your items property would be similar to this:

  Filter(componentsList, EquipmentID = equipmentDropDown.Selected.ID)

If that is what you are looking to do, then give that a try.
