Attachments from Sharepoint List Powerapps

Quick few simple questions! I keep sifting through the community here and can't seem to find a really clear answer.

Scenario:

My data source: Sharepoint List

When creating a new form, the attachments field seems to only allow people to attach 6 pictures. I know there is a maximum size limit for attachments but my questions are:

1) is the size limit per photo?

2) can I increase the amount of pictures people can attach? If so- how

3) am I able to increase the size limit? I feel like not but just thought I'd see if I can even a little bit

4) If I do end up adjusting attachment limits as per the above questions, do I do so in Powerapps and Sharepoint? both? One or the other?

THANKS!

Re: Attachments from Sharepoint List Powerapps

Hi @TorreyFalconer ,

Yeah, you are right. Currently, there are some limits on attaching files using Attachments control. Please check the following article for more details:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-attachments

For your first question, the maximum allowed file size in MB of each new attachment is 10 MB.

For your second question, in default, you could only attach 6 attachments within the Attachments control. If you want to attach more pictures, please consider change the Max attachments property of the Attachments control to a proper value as below:3.JPG

3. For your third question, if you want to increase the attachment size limits in Attachments control, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

4. For your forth question, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in SharePoint. The Attachments control limits is related to Attachment control itself, there is no way to change this limit in other place.

If you would like this feature to be improved, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Re: Attachments from Sharepoint List Powerapps

@King sorry no answers at all from that video. He says immediately that he is not talking about attachments via sharepoint lists.

I'm not using Asure or SQL. Do you know the answer to the questions though?
