We have several potential use-cases for PowerApps, one of the major items holding us back is that we can't seem to find a way to attach files to a form.
I saw a demo at Ignite of using the camera control to capture an image, and then using a web service to store the image in Azure. In our case, the photos already exist, e.g. were taken on a job site, or the user is attaching a supporting PDF or Word document, for example.
Is there a way to attach files to a PowerApps form, and if not, is it in the roadmap? And if so, when is it slated for completion? Ideally, there'd be an easy way to upload the attachments to a document library and link to them from the form; remove them, which would delete them from the library; etc.
I agree, this feature is key for unlocking a lot of use cases. I would love the option to upload files to a Sharepoint library or OneDrive for Business.
Waiting for this feature myself.
Hi David_Frankland,
Please submit an idea at PowerApps Forum, the customers who have the same request would vote your idea and PG would take hot ideas into consideration so that it might be released in future releases:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas
I would also collect it from my side.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
Looking for the same feature myself, so that it can replace infopath , has this been solved?
