Authentication loop with PowerApps Mobile App

Some of you may have experienced the scenario, where you try to open an app on your mobile PowerApp player and all it does is keep asking you to authenticate.  The reason for this appears to be a conflict with the Microsoft Authenticator.  It is not their co-existance, but rather the order in which they are installed that is causing the problem.  Here's the solution that worked for me:

 

  1. Authenticator and PowerApps do, in fact, conflict with one another
  2. Order of installation matters
  3. If the mobile device goes into a login loop, try the following:
    1. Remove Microsoft Authenticator
    2. Remove PowerApps
    3. Reboot
    4. Reinstall Powerapps
    5. Reinstall Authenticator (must follow PowerApps installation).
