BUG?: Edit multiple-word text in control

This is a strange behavior that has crept up in the PowerApps UI recently and I've searched through this community to see if anyone else has posted something about it but didn't find anything.

To recreate:

  1. On a screen, create a button control
  2. Double click the word "Button" to highlight it in the control
  3. With it highlighted, type two separate words, like "Other Screen"
  4. Now, when I hit spacebar after typing "Other", my OnSelect property fires up (and simply navigates to another screen) and acts like I've pressed the Alt key and clicked on the button.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Re: BUG?: Edit multiple-word text in control

Thank you for reporting it. Yes, this is a current bug that should be fixed in an upcoming release. The way that I'm working around it is by using the properties pane to update the button text.
