Best practice for creating a Many-to-Many table?

Hi all,

I am currently creating an application where I have a gallery of items that has to be able to have one individual item linked to one or more items on a separate gallery of items.

So in other words, lets say I have Gallery 1, which holds 6 rows of information. I also have Gallery 2, which holds 14 rows of information. I need to be able to go down the list in Gallery 1 and associate each individual line item to a selection of items in Gallery 2. The items in Gallery 2 should be allowed to be repeated for each line item in Gallery 1 as well.

I am thinking that I need to create a collection that directs both of the galleries, but when I try to create this it does not associate the two sources together as one item in the collection.

I'm hoping someone has any reccomendations that I can try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Hi @swan_soup,

@Meneghinohas an excellent article in his blog on this topic.  https://baizini-it.com/blog/index.php/2017/10/10/powerapps-101-many-to-many-relationships-between-ta... I think it should answer your questions.
