Can I share the "Sales Hub" out of box for the user have only powerapps P1 license?

User 1: Dynamics Customer Engagement Plan (CRM)

User 2: Powerapps Plan P1

1/ Admin: User1

User2 -> "Salesperson" role

In the home page for apps https://letra.crm5.dynamics.com/main.aspx?forceUCI=1&pagetype=apps

I share the app "Sales Hub" for the "Salesperon" role

 

2/ Salesperson: User 2

Can access to the "Sales Hub" app and CRUD Lead entity

 

Question:

Just only need a Powerapps license + right privilege and user can access to the Dynamics CRM apps without Dyanmics CRM license. Is this a bug or by design?

Hi @tomtominh ,

It is not a bug or By design. Actually, the D365 CRM Entity is based on CDS Entity within same PowerApps Environment (D365 instance).

The CDS is a Premium connector in PowerApps, any user wants to access this connector, he must own PowerApps Plan 1 license at least for his account. So any user who own PowerApps Plan 1 license, and he has been assigned with a proper Security Role from your PowerApps Environment, he would be able to access your CDS Entity (CRM Entity) without additional Dynamics Customer Engagement Plan.

NoteDynamics 365 applications, such as Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service or Dynamics 365 Talent, also use the Common Data Service to store and secure data used by the applications.
