Capture signature or hand-written notes

Is there currently a feature or a requested feature to Capture signature or hand-written notes?

Using the touch capabilities of a phone or tablet or PC, how about a control that will accept input from a stylus or pen or fingernail?

Hi @Anonymous,

Like @bean suggested, you can use pen input control like a whiteboard, drawing diagrams and writing words/signature. It can be collected as image later.

Re: Capture signature or hand-written notes

The pen input can be captured as an image. This can be collected in a collection and from that we can store the data to sql table or Blob storage. Below is the code to collect data.

ClearCollect(mySignatures, {id: Max(mySignatures,id) + 1,
                                             Content: PenInput1.Image});

ForAll(
               mySignatures,
               Patch(
                          '[dbo].[PAImageLoad]',
                          Defaults('[dbo].[PAImageLoad]'),
                          {
                             imgData: Content,
                             imgName: Text(id) + ".jpg"
                          }
                 )
      )

Here sql table is used as data source. The image is stored in the sql database.
