Checking if user has permission on the lists used in PowerApps

Hi

I need to display an error to user if he doesnt have permission on SharePoint List used in PA saying "You dont have access to this list."

I tried using " DataSourceInfo" function but it seems to return "True" value in always even if the user has access on list or doesnt have access on the list.

How do i achieve this ?

Re: Checking if user has permission on the lists used in PowerApps

Hi @abd3127 ,

If your user doesn't have the permission for the list connected to the app, then after he open the app and PowerApps will ask for the credential for SharePoint connection. Once he filled it, PowerApps will give the error message and tell that he doesn't have the permission to use this data source.
