Choose sharepoint list as per user requirement in powerapps

I have 17 sharepoint list all of them have 2000-3000 items ,now when the app starts i would like to ask the user from which list he/she want s to view data and once the list is chosen only that list is loaded and data is filtered based on the user requirement

This is not possible if i put the data from all the 17 lists into one list (which forms around 25k items)

I tried collecting only the required data as per user choice into a collection but that is giving me some "incompatible type error"

Can any1 help me here please ?

Re: Choose sharepoint list as per user requirement in powerapps

Fixed it by making different list and asking the user to select the list from which he want to search for the data,earlier i was having issue as the column types of all the list were not same,now that is fixed

Re: Choose sharepoint list as per user requirement in powerapps

Hi @vish_p

SharePoint lists can handle millions of records

so 25k items in a list is no problem

also, powerapps can handle all the items as long as you dont have an delegation issues

dynamically loading data sources in powerapps is not possible

@RezaDorrani  Thanks for the response!!

But i guess becasue of our organisation license we have a restriction of 5000 items list view threshold and powerapps will fetch only 2000 items
