Collections and Drop down options in Galleries

I'm trying to make one of the entry columns of my Collection a drop down option. But it will not accept the default setting of any LineItem created within my collection?

When I select a input field, setting the default action connects to the Collection.

But When I try to do this on a dropdown selction it give me an error?

Re: Collections and Drop down options in Galleries

Thanks, that makes sense.

It turns out that the real issue was that my Dropdown box was not correctly placed within the Gallery...

It's all sorted now.

Re: Collections and Drop down options in Galleries

Hi @Andries1,

Do you want to set the defaults value of dropdown, right?

Which control do you use? Drop down box or Combo box?

Can you share the error info with your formulas?

What is the items property of dropdown?

To set default value of dropdown box, you should modify the Default property, and it should be a text.

However, to set default value of combo box, you should modify the DefaultSelectedItems property, and it should be a record.

What more, how to set the default value is also related to the Items property, please post back more details

Best regards,

Sik
