Combine values of a People Picker and Date field into one Text field.

Hi,

I have a people picket field with in the DefaultSelectedItems:

If( SharePointForm1.Mode=FormMode.New,
{
'@odata.type': "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedUser",
Claims: "i:0#.f|membership|"&User().Email,
DisplayName: User().FullName
},
Parent.Default
)

A Date field with this in the DefaultDate:

If(SharePointForm1.Mode = FormMode.New, Now())

And a Text field, single line.

How do I combine the people picker and date into the text field in a new form?

Desired end result:

FirstnameLastname_Date

Thank you!

Re: Combine values of a People Picker and Date field into one Text field.

Hi @Gryffuth

Can you try to use this expression on the Default property of your TextInput control inside the Edit Form:

If(Form1.Mode = FormMode.New, Concatenate(Substitute(DataCardValue2.Selected.DisplayName," ",""),"_",Text(DataCardValue3.SelectedDate)),Parent.Default)
DataCardValue2 is the name of control with the Person Field Data and DataCardValue3 contains Date Field.

Hope this Helps!
