Connecting to Sharepoint views rather than lists

Hi all,

Has anyone connected to a sharepoint view rather than a sharepoint list?  I need to filter on the server rather than replicate the filter (and pass it back) from the powerapp.  I also get some advantages by managing the business rules in the sharepoint view and not having to duplicate those in the PowerApp.

I'd be happy with read only on this occasion.  Update methods are not required.  Thanks in advance!

Re: Connecting to Sharepoint views rather than lists

Hi @GarryB,

Thanks for the idea.

But currently this is not available.

Please consider submit this as an idea in the Microsoft PowerApps idea forum:

In addition, there is an idea submtted already about adding support for View from SQL server in PowerApps, see:

PowerApps must also see SQL Azure Queries, not only Tables
