Consume REST API in PowerApps form ?

I am trying to create form where I would like to make a call to SharePoint REST Api.

I am following this article to use Azure Function to make REST Call.

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/using-azure-functions-in-powerapps/

By following above link. I am able to upload the swagger file as a custom API  in Power Apps. But, I when I try to call any

of the function from swagger file then it doesn't work.

I am getting following error.

RESTError.png

Is there any example which makes SharePoint REST API call to List and retrieve data ?

Re: Consume REST API in PowerApps form ?

Hi @Arpit,

What is the result with only:

MyAzureFunction1.RunThis1()

specified with the Text property?

In addition, would you please share the detailed error message here, what is the HTTP error?

There is SharePoint connection available under PowerApps:

Connect from Microsoft PowerApps to SharePoint

Currently only SharePoint list could be connected within PowerApps, for the SharePoint Library, we could take use of Custom API, but there is no corresponding Example or guide that we could follow.

Re: Consume REST API in PowerApps form ?

Hello v-micsh-msft,

Thanks for the reply.

Well, I am not getting any additional detailed error. I am only getting the HTTP error which I have uploaded in the previous post.

I have tried following statement also.

MyAzureFunction1.RunThis1()

But, it didn't work. Can you please provide the DETAILED guidence on how I can create Java Script Azure Function and Connect it in PowerApps.

Thanks,

Arpit
