[Create Custom Connection] Deploy DialogFlow services to Powerapp

Hi everyone,

I have tried to deploy DialogFlow services, a service from Google, to Powerapp. I could POST to DialogFlow server and got Response successfully in Postman from my computer. Howerver when I created custom connection in Powerapp to Dialogflow. I got this error on Response:

Operation failed (403), see response below:
Status:
Forbidden (403)
Headers:
{
  "alt-svc": "clear",
  "content-type": "text/plain; charset=utf-8",
  "date": "Thu, 04 Oct 2018 07:26:51 GMT",
  "via": "1.1 google, HTTPS/1.1 donkey"
}
Body
{
  "status": {
    "code": 401,
    "errorType": "unauthorized",
    "errorDetails": "Authentication parameters missing"
  }
}
When I look at Request in Powerapp, I saw my Url is changed to "https://msmanaged-na.azure-apim.net/apim/... "
and header is changed to "Authorization": "Bearer eyJ0..."
Does anyone have any ideal for that ? 😞

Re: [Create Custom Connection] Deploy DialogFlow services to Powerapp

Hi @POG95,

Which authentication type do you use within the OpenAPI definition file of your custom connector?

Based on the error message you provided, I think you don't provide a authentication credential for your custom connector to connect to your DialogFlow service from PowerApps.

Custom connector within PowerApps provides 4 authentication types currently. The authentication types as below:

No authentication
Basic authentication
API Key
OAuth 2.0

Please take a try to define a authentication type (e.g. API Key) within the OpenAPI definition file for your custom connector, and then check if the issue is solved.

Please check and see if the following blog would help in your scenario:

https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/blob/master/articles/azure-functions/app-service-export-...

More details about customizing a connector within PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/register-custom-api

Best regards,

Kris
