Custom Connector Query Missing Trailing "/" ?

Hello,

I'm creating a Custom Connector and can't seem to get the final "/" on the query URL.

Scenario:

  • Going to...
    http://myCompany.com/path/to/api/<AssetID>
    ...returns JSON as expected
  • I pasted this URL into Request "Import From Sample". It shows as...
    http://myCompany.com/path/to/api/
    ...with AssetID showing under "Query".
  • api.png
  • When testing, the URL is transformed to...
    https://msmanaged-na.azure-apim.net/apim/connectorName.big.long/string/path/to/api?<AssetID>=stringHere
  • NOTICE: There is no "/" between "/api" and "?".
  • I'm getting a 404 error and I think it has to do with this. How do I add a "/" here?

Thank you!

Re: Custom Connector Query Missing Trailing "/" ?

HI @ericonline,

Could you please share a bit more about your Host Path that you typed within your custom connector?

I assume that the Host Path that you typed within your custom connector is myCompany.com, please take a try to type the following URL path within the URL field of "Import from sample" panel:

/path/to/api?AssetID

13.JPG

then try your custom connector again, check if the issue is solved.

More details about customizing connector within PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/register-custom-api

In addition, please also check if you have typed proper request URL Path which must match the URL patch defined within your OpenAPI definition file.

Best regards,

Kris
