I create a new canvas app from blank and put a data table on it. Then I created a connector to my OneDrive where I have an excel sheet I created with two rows of data for testing. I added fields from the spreadsheet and renamed most of the fields becuase they had spaces and it put the wierd _OX0020_ or whatever in all the field names.
The problem is that my data table says "We didn't find any data to show at this time."
I have checked the Items formula is set to the name of my table.
I have refreshed the data source.
I have saved and reopened the app.
I deleted and recreated the data source.
I cannot figure out why my app will not display the two records in my spreadsheet.
Hi Mrsprofitt77,
Do you want to reload data after renaming column names?
Before renaming your column names, did your data show in data table successfully?
I’ve made a similar test. After reopening the app, your data source will auto refresh, including your column names. Since your column names have been changed, you should reselect the fields you need. What’s more, refresh or reconnect data source will not show new column names.
So,you just need to reopen the app and reselect fields.

I started over again. And I am still having the same problem. Here are the exact steps I am taking:
1. Create new canvase app (tablet) from blank.
2. Insert > Data Table.
3. Click to connect to data.
4. Select my One Drive connection.
5. Select my Spreadsheet.
6. Select my Table name in my spreadsheet.
7. Click Connect.
8. Click Select fields.
9. Selected all the fields I want.
10. Close the field selector.
11. In left panel, select field.
12. Right-click > Rename.
13. Give new name with no space or wierd charachters.
14. Go to Advanced properties for each field.
15. Change the text to nice looking label for each field.
16. Click File > Save as.
17. Give app a name.
18. Go back into app and try to preview.
19. Still no data showing and the message "We didn't find any data to show here."
I have literally done nothing else to the app. I am still not sure what is wrong, or I am missing.
So, I have some new information. I tried clicking on the App from the main page in PowerApps to open it and I actually get an error message when I do this. (But the error does not show if I preview the app in the designer.)
Failed to load TimeDetails. The requested resource is locked. Server response: Cannot write file to filesource. File is being locked.
I have verfiried that no one has the file open in OneDrive. What could be causing this issue? Do I need to share the file or something?
File is open somewhere. Close it. Refresh data. Try again.
