Date Format issue

I need to generate a date in the following format:  August 25, 2019

My date field comes from a database in the following format: 8/25/2019

The LongDate format in PowerApps adds the day of the week:  Sunday, August 28, 2019

The ShortDate returns: 8/25/2019

How can I get the result I need?

Thanks

Ron

Re: Date Format issue

YOu can use the Text() function and the following date format string.

Text(DatePicker1.SelectedDate,"mmmm dd, yyyy")
