Disable button if pen input/gallery blank/empty

Hi all,

I am making an app which uses a pen input to gather signatures. I have a button which takes the user to the next screen/form on successfully filling in all the required fields. How do I disable this button whenever the pen input is blank? I have tried passing the image from the pen input to an Image control and Gallery and, based on that, checking if they contain an image, but no luck. I have tried this post by Shane Young but, again, haven't had any luck with it.

Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

What you need to end up doing is an image comparison to a blank image.

So, consider putting in your OnVisible action of your screen a formula such as this:

   Set(blankInputImage, PenInput1.Image)

Then, for your button, set the DisplayMode property to the following formula:

   If(PenInput1.Image = blankInputImage, Disabled, Edit)

Give that a try and see if you have better luck.

I hope this is helpful for you.
