Display Form from different data source

I have a gallery that uses a D365 entity with the name "Hours". Now I want the use the data in the gallery to create a activity record in D365(Different entity). It seems that is not possible to use "browsegallery.selected" as item in a form. How can I resolve this?

Re: Display Form from different data source

hi @Abdul1,

when the form and the gallery data sources are not exactly the same, you need to be more specific in the forms items property. The best way is to use a lookup() to the primary key of the data source in the gallery. Ie. lookup(data source,browsegallery.selected.id=Fid) as the items property of the form where Fid is the foreign key in the second entity. Hope that helps.

Hi Drrickryp,

There is no relationship between the entities.
